On this night I visited the Zoe in Yellow bar area and the Spicy club. This is the second half of an evening and the video starts at 22,30pm. The first part was Vlog 154. Both were good. I particularly liked the Reggae bar at Zoe in Yellow. the band were on top form and I highly recommend visiting if you're into chilled out reggae beats. Spicy club later on was full and had a great atmosphere inside, but it was just a shame they turned off the music at 1am (I think they have an ongoing problem with the authorities about late closing times). This popular nightlife area is located in the northeast corner of Old City in Chiang Mai. It's been a long time comin! Chiang Mai Nightlife! Feat. Mr. ThinkOutsideTheBox aka Mr. PassportHeavy aka Jubril! We talk about the cost of going out, nightlife in Chiangmai and show some visuals on a decent night at Zoe in Yellow bar and a few clips of Spicy Club. It was 3 years ago that Parker and I were on the couch watching Jubril's Chiang Mai Night Life party video, and it was one of the biggest videos that inspired us to start the LivinThatLife channel - digital nomad life but focusing on the Lifestyle first, that your online business makes possible. So it was a crazy moment for us to be making our own Chiang Mai Nightlife video when Jubril happened to be in town. Beers and drinks are around 60-120 baht ($2-4) depending what bar you are at. Overall in a month we spend around $1200, but going out 2 nights a week on average is in the range of $300 of that. So it's definitely an expense! As loud heavy music could be the monotonous, Riverside drinking is a popular , with residents and visitors settling down by the Ping River with a chilled drink. Also,for those who want to spend crazy experience Zoe in yellow could be an choice which is the busiest and the most populated bar in Chiang Mai which has a pub and a partially outdoor beer garden and the crowd is so large that it spills literally to the streets. The music is pop and the people here are seen dancing their hearts out.
